The service techs didn’t say anything about this when we took the washer in for service, but our tester was definitely starting and running it in the horizontal position. Storage could be it though. Thanks for the comment!

It should be used and stored in its horizontal configuration otherwise you risk gasoline leaking. Its NOT an issue or flaw with the unit.
