The negative environmental impact of all that non-recyclable plastic is enormous. If you would care to look into the scientific literature that shows how the oceans are being polluted at astounding levels by plastics introduced into the waste stream you would not buy something as stupid as one of these machines.

Agreed! However for this test, it wasn’t easy to measure the actual brew temp of the water so we measured the after-brew temp instead. The results give us a sense of which machines were within the 195-205F range and which were very far off.

Rest is meaningless. So in that, the single serves fail miserably.
